Founded in 2017 by Etienne Malec, following a successful Kickstarter campaign, Baltic is a contemporary and affordable French watchmaker that combines state of the art Japanese movements with sleek, understated design details to produce timepieces that are certainly making their mark in the watch world.

Baltic is the story about a father and a son who, in some ways, never knew each other. Years after the death of his father Ettiene discovered an old suitcase full of watches with detailed, handwritten annotations in an old notebook, that belonged to him. He immediately knew his calling and set off to create his own watch brand.

With a direct-to-consumer sales model Baltic aim to make the cost of owning a quality watch, with a distinctly vintage aesthetic and a timeless style, affordable to all.
