Watch Ratings
To help you with your decision-making when choosing a pre-owned watch we apply a rating to each piece after it has been through a strict process to check authenticity, functionality, and condition.
Unworn: The watch has not been worn, is in new condition, and functions perfectly with all parts being authentic.
Mint: The watch looks new and it functions perfectly. All parts are authentic and no service work is required.
Excellent: The watch shows negligible signs of wear and functions perfectly. All parts are authentic and no service work is required.
Very Good: The watch is in full working order but has some very minor wear. There may be light scratching and the bracelet may show slight stretching.
Good: The watch is in full working order but has some wear that may be visible to the naked eye. There may be some minor scratches, nicks, and other imperfections. The bracelet could show slight stretching.
Fair: The watch is in full working order but shows signs of heavy wear visible to the naked eye, and will require servicing. There may be scratches, discolouration and other imperfections. The bracelet could display excessive stretching.
Poor: The watch shows signs of heavy wear, damage, and some broken or missing parts. There may be extensive scratching, dents, rusting, and discolouration. Major work will be required to restore it to full functionality. Typically a watch that falls into this category is used for parts.
